My Bitchy Resting Face

I am extremely late to the party on this H&M collection which actually launched online and in stores worldwide on 20th April 2017.

The collection from H&M is their Conscious Exclusive which is a premium line that has been created specifically using only sustainable materials. I have seen the items in store and they are all absolutely stunning, beautifully made, they have hit all the current trends so you can expect a lot of floaty pieces, yellow because that is the colour of the season and anything flared from trousers to sleeves on blouses...did I just make up a rhyme then?!...sad I know. The only niggly thing I would have to say about this collection is the sizing, well lack of especially here in Kuala Lumpur where for some strange reason they only seem to carry up to size 40 apart from that I can't fault it any further and I am totally looking forward to seeing more from this collection.

It was so so hard to pick my Top 6 because I loved them all, I ended up going with the items that I could see myself wearing and would easily fuse with what I already have in my wardrobe. I did try to find links for all the items above but found most had already sold out online. My picks featured in this post are still in stock in the Lot10 Kuala Lumpur store apart from the earrings, therefore, I am almost sure you will still find stock in your local H&M store.

Who ever would have thought it would become a cool fashion statement to pair your sportswear with a work shirt and heels?! Don't get me wrong I am not mad at all, anything that involves casual and comfort I am all over it and when you see how easy is to incorporate with your current wardrobe you might be jumping on the bandwagon too.

Below I am sharing 10 looks on how the fashion forward are styling the Athleisure trend.

Enjoy!

• I make sure my skin is dry before applying, I then take one pump of product into my hand, rub my hands together then massage into my skin. I leave for a minute or two on my skin before washing off with a damp muslin cloth.

• I apply this in the evening after I have cleansed my face and make sure my skin is completely dry before applying.
• With the application process, I have found it much easier to apply with an old makeup brush as it seems to spread on more evenly on my face and it’s just less messy.
• I then leave to dry for about 10-15mins sometimes even longer when I'm distracted doing bits round the house as you do.
• Once the mask is completely dry I run my hands under the tap and pat onto my face and then start to massage the scrub like formula into my skin. After that, I then leave to dry for a further 10 min approx.
• Again once the mask is completely dry I can now wash the mask off my face.

Tip* I do find the little bits in the mask quite stubborn to get off so with the help of a sponge or muslin cloth it makes life a whole lot easier when you are trying to wash off this mask.

• I soak a cotton pad a gently rub over my face and neck.

Melvita Smoothing youthful Serum Lotion- This is a new addition to my morning and nighttime skincare routine. My sister is the one who had told me all about this serum lotion and how it contains plant-based Micro Hyaluronic Acid which is meant to improve the elasticity in your skin and give you that youthful appearance…I obvs bought into all of this!haha

• I put one pump into my hand, rub my hands together to warm it up a little then massage onto my face, neck and décolletage area.

• In the morning I always wash my face in the shower- it is part of my shower routine.
• Like any other facewash, I put one pump into my hand and then massage onto damp skin and rinse it off immediately after.

• One pump of this is the right amount to spread evenly over my face and neck.

*Tip- When I apply any moisturiser or oil I massage in an upward motion- apparently it helps prevent wrinkles...so I am told....or I should say here is hoping.
